DCWP announced a lawsuit against food delivery app Motoclick for violations of the City's Delivery Worker Laws. DCWP alleges that Motoclick paid workers below the legal minimum pay rate and deduced fees from workers' pay. The case is currently ongoing.
In June 2026, DCWP filed a motion seeking a preliminary injunction to stop Motoclick from operating in New York City unless it comes into compliance with the City's Delivery Worker Laws by paying workers $22.13 per hour.
If you have worked or are currently working as a delivery worker for Motoclick and believe your worker rights were violated, file a complaint with DCWP.
If you have additional questions about the lawsuit or preliminary injunction, submit a question by email to OLPS@dcwp.nyc.gov.
