The �鶹AV Health Department has a dedicated phone line for use by doctors, nurses, and other health care providers. The Provider Access Line is available for the following requests from health care professionals:

Report disease outbreaks
Report neonatal herpes following circumcision
Request H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccine supply
Provide current information about medical regulations, protocol and alerts
Obtain patient forms, educational materials, toolkits, posters and other publications
Register volunteers for the Medical Reserve Corps

The New York City Medical Reserve Corps is a program that assists the �鶹AV Health Department during emergencies.

Health professionals, such as doctors and nurses, may volunteer to address public health needs during emergencies such as smallpox outbreaks, a flu epidemic, or a hazardous materials spill.

Surge Staffing

The City is not currently accepting new clinical surge staffing requests at this time.

If you need information about ensuring that a patient is kept in a hospital, you should speak to the patient's attending physician or a hospital administrator.

The Assess Connect Engage (ACE) Team works with New York City medical providers and their patients to conduct needs assessments and engage clients in medical care and support services.
